I would also say that this is not necessarily a good idea. I find it
useful to have links to the current upstream versions, while the
versions in teTeX are sometimes (well, mostly...) outdated. So we'd need
an *additional* link, not just change the existing ones, for the local
files.

If the submitter does not react in the next couple of days, I'd suggest
to close it.
