BSD keeps saying this, but it just isn't true.  I worked for UNM at
that point in time, and was around for the release of BSD 4.3.  They
charged $8000 for a tape and a BSD license, in addition to the
requirement of a suitable AT&T license (which actually had to be for
32V, not for Version 7).
