Setting CTextIn value

I would like to set the value of some CTextIn fields to parameters
passed to the dialog before displaing the dialog (constructor or a
method).

I've added the dialog commands in the constructor, and after that I'm
trying to set the value of one of the widgets (CTextIn) to a char *
passed to the constructor but that dosn't seem to work.

After the dialog is displaed it's not a problem, but before ?

Any sugestions ?
