Further problems with Motif and OpenGL

     I tried to compile some of the test programs in vopengl: gear and 
     shapes
     
     After editing the Makefiles so that they compile, now they die both in 
     vCanvasPane::ExposeEV at vcanvas.cxx:6
     
     Anyway, now I remember that I had to delete the static storage 
     qualifier in v/includex/vbglcns.h:51, that could that problem.
     
     I had to remove it because g++ (egcs 1.1, Digital Unix 4.0c) was 
     complaining about an incompatibility between friend and static.
     
     What should I do?
