I don't think this is really necessary. Technically, if Deity was -really-
good it would have no need of external help in doing an upgrade. I have
been thinking of a possible algorithm that could be used for this.
Basically we need an Upgrade button that effectively goes through and
presses 'i' on every kept package.. It would then remove everything that
is broken. With a bit of circular loop detection it might work very well.

This is similar to what Scott's script does except his script attempts to
pre-guess what will break. We KNOW what will break because it is broken
after the fact :>

I don't think we can autodetect the case when someone wants to do a full
upgrades (libmindreader.so?) but we can provide a button to initiate the
process.
 
Currently upgrading is pretty easy, you just go down the list of installed
packages and hit I on everything then go an remove the things that broke
(typically -dev packages).
