I haven't noticed anything in terms of real apps, but I haven't used any 3d apps for couple of weeks (except screensavers and while they've been slow the system has also been busy), and I just did the upgrade in the past few days. Since vblank_mode=0 is fast, is there likely to be a problem when I try something 3d, like games, and is it sufficient to make that part of the .xsessionrc, or will I need to alter my /etc/drirc? Thanks! Daniel -- And that's my crabbing done for the day. Got it out of the way early, now I have the rest of the afternoon to sniff fragrant tea-roses or strangle cute bunnies or something. -- Michael Devore GnuPG Key Fingerprint 86 F5 81 A5 D4 2E 1F 1C http://gnupg.org No more sea shells: Daniel's Weblog http://cshore.wordpress.com
