Thanks. Turns out the driver seems not to detect the internal panel
properly when using MonitorLayout "*,CRT", but I'm not sure yet how to
fix it. Out of curiosity, what happens when you don't specify Option
"MonitorLayout" at all? As it seems to detect the external display via
DDC, chances are pretty good that works.
