They already did it for 3d accel on the voodoo/banshee driver (i mean
prevent user from using the capability without an option to reenable it).

I hope we can convince upstream that this is harmfull ...
What bother me is that such limitation where added upstream after no more
than one red hat user complaint ... we did not had any :-/ (maybe our user
like to live dangerously :)
