Bug#290395: xserver-xfree86: discover used wrong
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.1.0-16woody5
Severity: normal
xserver-xfree86 is calling discover on configure. It is not able to report
sanely if discover does not find a device:
# dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
discover: Bus not found.
#
and it is using the wrong command line for discover. On my system the display adapter is found with
"discover -t display" and not "discover video":
# discover -t display
ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage Pro AGP 1X/2X
# discover video
discover: Bus not found.
