Hi, I recently switched to the en_US.UTF-8 locale. In /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale, I see the compose maps for the various character sets, however there isnt one for en_US.UTF-8. As far as I can tell, this locale uses the compose map from iso8859-1 (though I couldnt figure out how/why). Personaly, I dont find this very useful, as I would like to be able to compose iso8859-2 characters. So far I have been unable to figure out how to do that. Is there some way to make a user specific compose map? It dosent look like something that xmodmap can modify. I suppose I could make a new map, and put it into /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8, but thats not the best solution, since some people may want to compose other character sets while using UTF-8.. Any ideas, or pointers to documentation would be appreciated. Thanks, Norbert
