Re: X locks up the machine on start



Hi,

Many thanks!
Searching that archive indeed revealed that other people
also had problems with S3 chips integrated into VIA Northbridges.
It also revealed, that it is possible to download a savage_drv.o
from S3's website that fixes that problem. It works now!
