Thanks a lot!

Is it possible that you were not aware of the fact that the main
index.wml file was already in the past contained in CVS? It just got
removed because it was too outdated. Such removed files can e.g. be
fetched from the Attic/ directory in the web frontend.

I think this because a diff between both versions contains many changes.
(I assume you did not select the old file and completely rewrote it.)

If you're really willing to continue translating or at least to handle
bug reports for Chinese pages (don't expect any) it would be a good idea
to request write support. See http://www.debian.org/devel/website/ for
details. Once you request it, it would be good to have your language
list in CC: and to get a few positive support mails from them.

Currently we commit such files without a possibility to check :-)

PS: No need to open bug reports, it seems nobody reads these ...
Sending a single mail should be sufficient, once we forgot dealing
with it send another mail after two days.
