rounded edges of red and blue elements of Debian pages?
Hey people,
Yesterday I spent some time trying to round the edges of the boxes on the
Debian page. The result is at
http://joy.gkvk.hr/rounded/
I've asked some people to comment already, and those that like round edges
liked this change. One person said that he likes rectangle edges more, in
fact. I'd appreciate any comments.
BTW I've added the mirrors thingie (the drop-down list of 16 major mirrors)
too, although that's only a long shot... ignore it.
There were two problems observed:
* Netscape 4.75 and Internet Explorer 5.5 didn't display the upper and
lower right edge of the blue box correcty because they doesn't seem to
understand <td colspan="3"> setting correctly. I have no clue why
this happens...
* Mozilla M17 didn't display the navigation bar images correctly because it
doesn't seem to understand <img align="midle"> setting for some reason.
I've tried putting valign="middle" in the <td> container tag, but it
didn't help.
