There are no alt tags.  

The alt attribute is mandatory on the img tag.  It is perfectly OK to
specify an empty alt attribute.

Use TITLE to describe the image.

If you're looking for the Debian logo, you check out the logo page.
If you're not, alt="[swirl]" will just be an annoyance on all the
other pages.
