The current suggestions try to have the same directory structure in the
file system as well as on the FTP and WWW server. This is necessary for
"cross references" we plan to implement.

But there is another topic involved: On debian-policy, there was a
discussion about where to install non-english docs in the filesystem about
a week ago. We haven't found a solution yet and I'll restart the
discussion soon.

(This is really a hard discussion as everyone seems to be involved!
Perhaps we should use on of our new "debian-devel-topic-?" lists for this
topic. What do you think? Otherwise, we would have to add "debian-policy"
to the CC: list :-)

Ok, I'll wait until you present the new web structure for discussion.

Thanks,
