module-assistant does indeed look very neat (at least from a user
perspective). How does it handle upgrades, though? And would it be a good
idea simply to try running module-assistant auto-install in postinst, or
would that be a bad idea (for custom-built kernels etc.)? It would certainly
smooth out upgrades, at least...
