I'm not interested in blob loading mechanisms. But I am interested in free
software, so I've spent a deal of work on #494010, and thanks to that we'll
have a free dsp56k firmware that you can read, study and modify.
I understand that Ben's interests differ slightly from mine, and I have a lot
of respect for what he's doing, but that is not to say he's the only one
doing something useful.
FWIW, if time permits I also intend to look at that Glibc bug you pointed out.
The DRM opt-in fallacy: "Your data belongs to us. We will decide when (and
how) you may access your data; but nobody's threatening your freedom: we
still allow you to remove your data and not access it at all."
