Although some people still prefer to leave about 20% of a SSD as raw
unpartitioned space, so SSD can spare/level out sectors to that empty
space, this is IMO on longer necessary, as you can report entire free
space as void of data to the SSD, and it will TRIM it on demand. You can
do it by manually invoking fstrim, or using systemd timer, or using
async discard if you using Btrfs.
TL;DR: Use ENTIRE space however you want. After complete install just
make sure that both services fstrim and fstrim.timer are enabled and
running, that's all.
