Don't walk in the dark. Instead, do the following:

Error in red about network adapter will tell you exact name of the file
you need to download on machine with internet.

You do it as follows:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install apt-file
sudo apt-file update
apt-file search filename

where "filename" is exact filename missing from laptop without WiFi.

Unfortunately in this case that might not work.

The file that is needed is wl.ko

But it is compiled on install of the dkms package.

so:

apt-file search /wl.ko

Doesn't give anything.

You'd have to search for one of the source files:

apt-file search wl_linux.c

bijan@bijan-xps:~$ apt-file search wl_linux.c
bcmwl-kernel-source: /usr/src/bcmwl-6.30.223.271+bdcom/src/wl/sys/wl_linux.c
broadcom-sta-dkms: /usr/src/broadcom-sta-6.30.223.271/src/wl/sys/wl_linux.c
