I thought it was pretty clear, someone asked about fitting stuff on a DVD. The answer is that you'll probably need to deal with more than one DVD. There is a place for offline backups; DVDs lack in capacity, but they're still compelling for that role from a cost standpoint if the data volume isn't too high. At any rate, I don't see a point in arguing about whether the person I was replying to is doing it wrong because they choose to use a DVD.
