Probably. When you write "partition", you actually mean "filesystem".These are two distinct things. A partition is just a raw block device which does not know what is is used for. A filesystem is a data structure.
I'm explicitly wish the information Gparted displays for each partition of a physical device.The column titles are "Partition", "File System", "Label", "Size", "Used", "Unused", and "Flags".I need all but the last as text.And Gparted has no problem displaying the information independent of being mounted or not.
Yes it does. I have seen it display wrong size information about unmounted partitions.
