Re: SSD unrecognized disk label



Ok, fist I had a look at Google for 'SM2246AA'. There are some hits with exactly the problem you have. I have no real idea, what to make of those. With things like that, you need to know what you, guessing is a bad idea -> Sorry, I'm out at this point.

But if you are seriously interested in getting your data back, do not alter anything on this device at first. Try a SATA port and/or controller... This is not USB, right? How dies this thing look in your mainboard's BIOS? Try to reset you MB's BIOS.
Try to dump its contents using dd. May be try to flash the firmware.
