Thanks for your input -- just to comment on it, I have quite a bit of space 
between the klipper icon and the upper left corner of the screen -- I mean 
like about 4" (on my 32" diagonal monitor (TV)) -- I just haven't trained 
myself to be more precise with my mouse movements.

Thanks to Brad Rogers, I have disabled the "feature".
