Perhaps there is an option in the configuration section and saving this in
your user profile it will overwrite the default one. I'm sorry , I am not
using either Gnome or KDE,but in Ubuntu's Gnome this is default behavior as
I have been asked to disable this on couple of Ubuntu machines.
