Hi,

on a laptop with testing, updated init packages, and freshly rebooted, the
priority of the packages is still "required":

# cat /proc/1/comm
init

$ mount -t ext4
/dev/sda1 on / type ext4 (rw,relatime,lazytime)
/dev/sda2 on /home type ext4 (rw,relatime,lazytime)

$ dpkg -s sysvinit-utils | grep -E '(Version|Priority|Multi-Arch)'
Priority: required
Multi-Arch: foreign
Version: 2.88dsf-59.9

$ dpkg -s sysv-rc | grep -E '(Version|Priority|Multi-Arch)'
Priority: required
Multi-Arch: foreign
Version: 2.88dsf-59.9

$ dpkg -s initscripts | grep -E '(Version|Priority|Multi-Arch)'
Priority: required
Multi-Arch: foreign
Version: 2.88dsf-59.9
