If you install Debian, then install Windows - you normally overwrite the GRUB entries and MBR.

If you isntall the other way round, you normally find that Debian will find the Windows partition and install GRUB correctly.

In case of only having Windows come up: boot from media, run rescue - which looks like an insstall but isn't quite - work through
to the end and you have an option to reinstall GRUB.

If you're already _in_ a working Jessie - run os-prober and update-grub as root

This is by way of becoming an FAQ - and is in the installation instructions / release notes as Chapter 8, I think.

apt-get install debian-handbook and read up on this?
