The sound quality on Debian Jessie seemed to be okay to me (I use Rhythmbox
as music player, and VLC occasionally).
Today, I used Windows for a while, and experienced far better and more
dynamic sound quality on same earphone and for the same track (Rolling in
the Deep :P).

Hi Himanshu,

Can you please provide more info regarding the Windows music app? Do
you have any plugins or EQ enabled?

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

VLC has many presets to choose from regarding "audio quality". Or, you can manually set filters that mix audio. Just go to tools/effects and
filters. Have fun! Ric
