Hi again,
it seems the rule "write to the user list and you'll find a solution shortly
by yourself is still true"

In the BIOS (v A10 ) there is an option called 
        "Wireless Radio Control"

when the settings (regarding WLAN WWAN) are enabled it means when cable is
plugged in, the WLAN is killed (turned off) and it shows as hardware off.

Whenever you remove the cable the WLAN turns on.
