Re: adobe flash player in iceweasel does not work anymore in jessie

yayyyy!
I got a working solution! :) Install Google Chrome.
Chromium doesn't support flash and many other stuff, while Google Chrome is not available directly in debian repository.
Download Google Chrome from https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/
and then run the following commads

sudo apt-get install gconf-service libgconf-2-4 libnspr4 libnss3 libpango1.0-0 libappindicator1 libcurl3
sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

There might be some ethical issues from the FSF and DFSG rules but at present one might need to get his/her task done.
Happy Browsing!

Bad way of thinking. I think you will have problems again. Your
flashplugin does not become updates now, I guess. Iceweasel will refuse
to use it after some time.

Debian packages are system-wide solutions, not only for a specific user.
You are using now a solution in your homedirectory.

It will work when you update it, or let some script or program update
it. Maybe it can update itself, in your homedir it has write-permission.

It overrules system-wide solutions like flashplugin-nonfree or the
package from deb-multimedia.

With regards,
