Just as a point of interest, I understand that most BIOS limits are limits in the ATA command set (that is, PATA and SATA drives experience these issues). Is USB mass storage ATA-based or SCSI based? If it's SCSI based, then most of the rule-of-thumb BIOS limits don't apply. -- For more information, please reread.
