Sounds like it. Do you still have any entries in the file
/etc/apt/sources.list which refer to wheezy?

I doubt it. Reinstalling will only affect system-wide settings, if at
all. The mail data is stored in your home directory.

Try renaming them, e.g., .iceape to .seamonkey.
