Sure, that's no problem. See /etc/systemd/timesyncd.conf.

The default is
Servers=0.debian.pool.ntp.org 1.debian.pool.ntp.org
2.debian.pool.ntp.org 3.debian.pool.ntp.org

This can be set to local NTP server in your LAN.
