Debian wheezy entered freeze with Linux kernel version 3.2.30. As of today, a system running wheezy and wheezy's security updates contains Linux kernel version 3.2.63. (People using wheezy-backports, or compiling their own kernels, may well have a later version of the kernel.)

Debian jessie has entered freeze with systemd version 215 and Linux kernel version 3.16.5. When it becomes the new 'stable', it will contain systemd version 215 and a 3.16 Linux kernel. By the time it becomes 'oldstable', a system running a default installation of jessie and jessie's security updates will *still* contain systemd version 215 (possibly patched to resolve any security issues that have arisen over its lifespan) and a 3.16 kernel.

This is how Debian works, and I have seen nothing to suggest that it will not be how Debian works during the lifespan of jessie.

As such, if you wish people to believe your claim that a fully security-updated Debian jessie at the point it becomes oldstable will contain a 3.morethan16 Linux kernel and a version of systemd later than 215, it's incumbent on *you* to provide evidence for your claim.
