Well, sorry to have said something which aggravated you. That was not
my intention. I don't even use local email these days, just gmail,
sadly, and often frustratingly :/
So, I am not able to help you on your specific problem. But I was
confident others would be able to help.

No marketing here. Just a guilty secret from the days I -did- use
local email. I used mpop and I found it off-the-charts faster. It was
astounding. So fast I felt guilty using it :)
