I don't think there is one.

I understood the above quote as meaning "I don't want anything
Microsoft, and I also don't want systemd. So far I've been able to avoid
Microsoft by using Linux. When continuing to use Linux comes to mean
either never upgrading or using systemd, I'll have to choose between the
two things I don't want to do, which will be hard. Hopefully, a third
potentially sufficient option will be available by then."
