Install the file package, then at a command prompt run: 'file
filename.qs' (without the quotes). Can you post the output back

I would also try converting it to a .avi or .mp4 using avconv from the
libav-tools package, e.g 'avconv -i filename.qs outfile.avi' and see if
outfile.avi will play in your video player. I use mpv, some others
prefer vlc etc.
