Hi Lisi,
If the only problem is sites not talking to you, couldn't you change
how Iceweasel identifies itself? I did that with xxxterm, removing
Youtube's message that my browser was deprecated and about to lose
support, and enabling titantv.com to let me set up my own channel
scheduling (though with a glitch I overcame).
By the way, I'm highly satisfied with the way xxxterm works.
