Lack of knowledge of Debian offends you? Isn't that what we're here for,
to gain and share knowledge?

While that may be true (and almost certainly is; I suspect there are
very many (welcome) lurkers with minimal knowledge), proclaiming it
loudly can be irritating. But as you say, killfiling you for it would be
too much :-)
