Yes, sorry that was a bit harsh.
However, so you can help him here, with the information provided?
Ah, no you already admitted to that.

OP: please use the current stable and try to install that on your VM.
After that try again with testing and provide the log information. This
should be printed on the 4th console (ALT+F4)
