No! It's just what I use (for reasons too lengthy and boring for the list).
I'd settle for a simple way to pipe `fg` (/temp) into nano so I can use
colours to spot syntax errors.

I've only tried zsh. It was nice.


Have you tried fish? It has coloured CLI syntax highlighting.
# apt-get install fish
