There are packages with some type of dependency on systemd, here are
packages which Depends:

p --\ systemd t 1180 kB <none> 204-5
  --\ Depends (8)
p gnome-settings-daemon t 1096 kB
p libpam-systemd 204-5 t 34.9 kB
p lighttpd 1.4.33-1 t 233 kB
p sogo 2.0.7-2 t 1896 kB
p systemd-cron 1.1.1-1 t 4868 B
p systemd-sysv 204-5 t 19.4 kB
p systemd-ui 2-2 t 57.9 kB
i A upower 0.9.23-2 t 95.2 kB *

From these packages:

* the upower, sogo and lighttpd depends on "somtehing | systemd"
* systemd-* and libpam-systemd are systemd related packages

Then only gnome-settings-daemon is pulling the systemd now, then (for
testing) you are wrong and previous poster was right.

regards
