Unless you've already removed it, you can still check the configuration file, find the files/apps it was serving, and get a good guess at the contents, enough to decide whether you want to start the server back up to look. Or whether you might want to take other measures to make sure that your box is not under control of some unauthorized 3rd party.
Not to be obnoxious, but a little paranoia is healthy.
