Re: Fwd: Re: SSDT - Any more ideas??

Hi Ethan,

I'm a little bit pissed off, since I got mails in my private and in my
Debian folders and I'm not willing to puzzle the strange formatted HTML
mails. However, as already pointed out, but anyway with mistakes
regarding to input and output, ...

- compressed files first need to be extracted
- but then it's correct, that the input file is has got a path
- it might be that you have overwritten the MBR of your USB stick, if
so, the partition table now is destroyed and you first might need to
format it before you can continue ...

... I don't know, since I don't know how to make a bootable DOS stick

Sure, I can do your homework.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=free+dos+usb+stick+linux

then you will find among other hints, this one

http://tuxtweaks.com/2009/09/create-a-bootable-freedos-usb-drive-on-linux-with-unetbootin/

available by Debian, see

http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=unetbootin

I don't know if the howto is good, I don't know if it's working, because
I have to do my own homework. I'm willing to help you with your homework
if ...

- you stop sending me privately
- you stop continuing to send odd formatted HTML mails
- I even reply to HTML mails if they are sane formatted

Regards,
Ralf
