Just for information, here's mine:

$ glxinfo | grep render
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD RS780
    GL_NV_conditional_render, GL_AMD_draw_buffers_blend, 

..but I have no idea whether it will run GNOME shell, nor am I interested 
in finding out.
