Yes. Well, what the above is telling us is that:
1/ You can reach your DSL gateway
2/ You can resolve domain names usin Google's DNS servers, at least
from command line tools
Can you run the same query using your router's DNS facility and send the
output? That is:
dig@192.168.1.254 yahoo.com
