"debian-508-i386-netinst.iso" is for Lenny and hybrid images are
available since Squeeze release (old ISO images require "extra" work, I
guess).

Yup, I tried (just to test it) a few days ago with "debian-6.0.0-i386-
netinst.iso" and worked like a charm.
