Sorry Paul, but i dont get how your posting makes my statement false. Here we see the usage of another two helper protocols at DeviceURI, namely hal and hpfax. Im staying at my opinion that a network-attached printer would make an IP show up under DeviceURI, whereas other link ways lead to a workaround, a 'virtual print server', a very basic one of course. Correct me if thats bogus...
