Again, you'll have to create the file "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" and put in
there:

***
Section "Device"
   Driver "sis671"
EndSection
***

Done including the stars *** that correct Your paste:
http://pastebin.com/pLM39MWy Bad happenend again. Tried startx in user
and super mode. no dice Await your report before the next one.
I see the same report, it still fallbacks to VESA :-/

And VESA does not like the resolution you need:

(WW) VESA(0): Unable to estimate virtual size
(II) VESA(0): Not using built-in mode "1280x768" (hsync out of range)
(II) VESA(0): Not using built-in mode "1024x768" (hsync out of range)
(--) VESA(0): Virtual size is 800x600 (pitch 800)

O.k. Try to let Xorg to generate by itself a "xorg.conf" file.

If you are under gnome, go to a tty (ctrl+alt+f1) and then as root run:

/etc/init.d/gdm stop
Report no such file. There is no file.
Then cd into /etc/X11 directory:

cd /etc/X11/

Once here, run:

Xorg -configure
Reports Fatal error and a lot stuff

Question..: Once in tty, how to return to gnome grafical.
That will generate a "xorg.conf" file for you in "/etc/X11/xorg.conf".

Reboot. If neither works, do not worry, copy the content of the
"xorg.file" that it was auto-generated and paste here (it should not be
very long).
