How to deal with packages that only in an old release?
Hi,everyone
Recently I'm trying to synchronize my wm6.1 mobile-phone with debian
squeeze ,I found a project named "synce"can help me do this, so I
followed the guide for debian lenny on the website of the project
(http://www.synce.org/moin/SynceInstallation/Debian), but I can't find
some packages named "opensync-plugin-evolution,opensync-plugin-synce
multisync-tools" in the squeeze's source, but I can find them in
lenny's source when search the packages on packages.debian.org.
So what I want to ask are:
1)Are they removed or
replaced by some other packages?
2)Can I just download them
from http://packages.debian.org and install them?
3) And by the way,how can I
know a package is removed or replaced by another package?
Thank you
