Re: switching to console and zapping
I ran into this problem with two different chips in the past, and on both occasions, the X driver was the guilty party. No idea if this will help narrow it down in your case, but since the test takes about five minutes... As to "that" buggy, how many linux users depend on this feature... know about it, even?
